Letter from the Director

Welcome to the Rio Grande Alumni Association web page. It is a pleasure to offer you this source of information for alumni happenings and other alumni-related matters. From our page, you can update you information, check on upcoming alumni events and activities, find out how to get involved or make a donation, and even nominate your peers for awards!

It is our goal to encourage and foster lifelong alumni participation, involvement and commitment, while being the primary communication between the University and its alumni. Our goals are simple and focused on strengthening the bond between our alumni and the University. It is also in our plans to create better lines of communication with our younger alumni, while building upon the positive relationships we have with our seasoned alumni.

Please stay in touch with us! It is a constant challenge to keep our alumni records updated, and accurate data is vital to our success. Contact us by phone, mail, fax, or email – or even fill out any of the forms found on our page. You can stay connected by updating all of your info, submitting an address change, or even submitting class notes. Remember, we want to know about job changes, promotions, marriages, births, or deaths.

We welcome you as part of the Rio Alumni family and we hope to see you back on campus soon! We hope that you will stay connected and involved with this ever-growing institution. Our staff is here to help you in any way.

If you have questions or need more information about the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College, or any alumni happenings, please feel free to contact us. You can also reach out to us if you have suggestions or new ideas, would like to volunteer, or are interested in forming a new alumni chapter.
