Biography:
David Lawrence serves as Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness with responsibility for Assessment, Accreditation, Institutional Research, and Strategic Planning. From 2002 until 2007, he served as Director of Choral Activities where he conducted the Grande Chorale and the Masterworks Chorale and taught classes in Aural Training, Conducting, and Elementary and Secondary Music Methods. He also served as the Music Department Coordinator, Chair of the School of Fine Arts, and as Ohio Collegiate Music Educators Association chapter advisor and was an active adjudicator and clinician in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
From 2007 until 2011, Dr. Lawrence served as the Dean of the College of Professional Studies which included the Schools of Business, Education, Fine Arts, and Technologies. In 2011, he took on Associate Provost duties and transitioned to Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences which includes the School of Arts and Letters, the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and the Bunce School of Education.
